Author Guidelines

At-Tahdzib: Jurnal Studi Islam dan Muamalah invites authors to submit quality articles in the field of Islamic studies and muamalah. To ensure that your article meets our journal standards, please follow these writing guidelines:
1. Scope
The submitted article must be in accordance with the focus and scope of our journal, which includes:
Islamic Studies: Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Islamic History, and Contemporary Islamic Thought.
Muamalah: Islamic Economics, Trade Law, Sharia Financial Management, and Business Ethics in Islam.
2. Manuscript Format
Language: Articles can be written in Indonesian or English.
Manuscript Length: Articles must be between 4,000 and 6,000 words, including abstract, references, and appendices.
Font Type: Use Times New Roman font, size 11 pt.
Line Spacing: Use 1-space between lines.
Margins: Set the document margins to 2.5 cm on each side.
Format: Submit the article in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx).
3. Manuscript Structure
Title: The title must be short, clear, and reflect the contents of the article, no more than 15 words.
Abstract: Maximum 250 words, including background, objectives, methodology, and research results. Include 3-5 keywords after the abstract.
Introduction: The introduction pays attention to the discussion in it, namely: 1) the background of the problem that will be answered or resolved; 2) avoids a literature review that is too detailed, but sufficiently describes the conclusions from the results of the literature review; 3) explains why researchers are scientifically and empirically interested in the problem and explains the purpose of their research; 4) researchers write introductions by paying attention to the level of understanding of non-expert readers, and; 5) researchers use a narrative format and not subheadings.
Literature Review: Discusses related literature and theoretical framework.
Hypothesis: Temporary answer to the problem formulation proposed by quantitative and experimental researchers.
Methodology: Explains the research methods used.
Results and Discussion: Presents research findings and discussion.
Conclusion: Summarizes the results and implications of the study.
Bibliography: Follows the APA (American Psychological Association) citation style or other consistent style.
4. Manuscript Submission
Submission System: Articles must be submitted through our journal's online submission system at [submission system link].
Cover Letter: Include a cover letter explaining the relevance of the article and confirming that the article is original and has not been previously published.
Copyright: Authors must include a copyright statement and consent for publication by the journal.
5. Review Process
Peer Review: Articles will go through a peer review process to assess scientific quality and contribution. Authors may be asked to make revisions based on feedback from reviewers.
Revision: Authors are required to make revisions based on the feedback and submit the revised manuscript within the specified time.
6. Publication Ethics
Originality: Ensure that your article is original work and does not violate copyrights.
Plagiarism: Articles containing plagiarism will not be accepted.
Ethical Compliance: Follow applicable research ethics standards and avoid conflicts of interest.
